The Science of Happiness - Positive Psychology

Positive psychology (The science of happiness)

In 2009 research found that Positive Psychology interventions enhance wellbeing.

The central theme in Positive Psychology is identifying what makes you happy and by increasing that element in our lives we will achieve ‘Flow’. This is the terminology used to describe the positive state we feel when indulging in what makes us happy.

In practice therapists can work with Positive Psychology by helping clients identify their strengths, exploring their goals and working at changing unhelpful thought patterns. Creating a focus on the 'Flow' - This is the Science of Happiness.
